The Works of Mercy are acts of love that address the needs of others. They are categorized as Spiritual and Corporal works. Every Catholic has a calling and a responsibility to serve as a living example of Jesus’ teachings – to serve one another. Matthew 25:32-46 tells us that when we care for others, we care for Christ himself.

About SHIM
(South Hills Interfaith Movement)
SHIM provides a variety of resources to help neighbors meet basic needs. They host six food pantry distributions at three locations each month that are currently benefiting more than 3,500 people.
